About Me
Hi,
My name is Eva. I was born in Arizona and raised in Belgium. I have lived in Scottsdale, Arizona since the beginning of 2014. My parents are Belgians and I have grown up with the culture and traditions of this country, as well as its cuisine. I have always loved to eat food from different countries, I have never been skinny and, for sure I live to eat, not the other way around!

My love for food started very early. As far as I can remember, I have always helped my parents in the kitchen while they were cooking dinner. My mom was the one cooking during the week, as my dad was working later. It was always fresh and homemade, even though it was fast to put together. It could have been a simple dish as long as the ingredients were of good quality. That has always been a saying at home.

My dad was the one cooking on the weekend when he had more time and also when we had friends over for dinner. He has always put a lot of effort when he cooked. It is still the case today. He is often looking for new recipes or to reproduce a dish tasted in a restaurant. He also gives free rein to his imagination.

I think that thanks to my parents, I have become a food enthusiast who enjoys cooking, baking, eating, and discovering the different kinds of cuisine from around the world. My parents always took me anywhere they were going to (Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Guadeloupe, Hungary, India, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Norway, Spain, Switzerland, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, United States) and they always made me taste new things. I hope that in the future, I will have the opportunity to discover many more countries.

I love to cook at home for family and friends. I love to cook for my boyfriend, who is my guinea pig sometimes, but he always enjoys a good homemade dinner. I think food helps to bring people together and lets them share a good time.
I also love to go out and try new things. I especially love the “happy hour” in the United States because you have smaller portions and you can taste more stuff. The more the better!

Eva
