Fresh garlic can be quite pungent, but roasted garlic is nothing like that. It has a milder but deeper flavor and it is super creamy and soft like butter.
There is actually nothing better than fresh roasted garlic spread on a piece of fresh bread. You can add roasted garlic to any savory dish that you like. It will enhance the flavors.

INGREDIENTS
1 head of garlic or more
olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat your oven to 400F.
Remove the outer layers of the garlic head to show the skin of the cloves and cut the top of the head, about ¼ inch.
Place the head in a muffin pan and drizzle with olive oil. Rub the olive oil in between the cloves.
Cover with another muffin pan of the same size or with some foil around. Put it in the oven and roast until golden and soft, approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Check if you can easily pierce a clove with a knife. The exact roasting time will depend on the size, the type and the freshness of your garlic.
Let cool it down and then squeeze out the cloves and use on whatever you want.
Use it right away or store it in the fridge for a few days or even freeze it.
Bon appétit!
